Amanda looked radiant and happy wearing fashionable red and black plaid pants, a black top, and nude pumps, while Paul matched her in head to toe black and white.

The actress wore her hair short and jet black with bangs, and the pair smiled as they enjoyed their day.

This is the first time Amanda has been seen publicly in sixth months, after undergoing psychiatric and rehabilitation treatment over the past year.

The child star has been out of the public eye for quite some time, until her abrupt and unexpected engagement announcement in February of 2020.

Amanda, 34, shared a photo of her engagement ring, with the words: “Engaged to the love of my life.”

The Nickelodeon star’s future husband is reportedly named Paul, they allegedly met while attending Alcoholics Anonymous and were engaged after only two months of dating.

Despite Amanda’s genuine excitement over her betrothed, a source told Us Weekly shortly after the proposal that “the ring is fake.”

The prominent star believes her relationship is very real, however, and took to her Instagram to introduce her new man via video to all of her followers.

In the recording, she also apologized to those she infamously slammed on Twitter in 2013 and promised that she was a year sober.

Although there was speculation that the couple broke up just one month later in March, in an exclusive interview with The Sun, Paul denied the rumors and added “We’re enjoying being engaged. We’ll let the world know when we have a date set.”

Amanda has sought out treatment regularly over the past eight years, and Paul spoke on the matter, saying: “She requested it due to trauma from her childhood that still affects her. She has been in treatment but wanted to go to a center that took her insurance. That was the issue.

“Now she’s at a place that’s expensive but is better for trauma.”

Also in March, Amanda and Paul shared photos of a sonogram announcing a pregnancy, but the posts were quickly deleted after and later David Esquibias told The Sun that “Amanda is not pregnant and is not in treatment for any addiction.”

Since then, the Hairspray actress has been in and out of rehab facilities and has periodically shared photos to her Instagram profile.

In June, she shared a mirror selfie and admitted to spending the last two months in rehabilitation, saying:  “Looking forward to starting my online store in the future #goals. Spent the last 2 months in treatment.

“Worked on coping skills to help with my social anxiety that caused me to drop out of school months ago. Back on track and doing well!

“I’m now living in transitional living and doing therapy during the week.

“Still engaged to the love of my life, Paul. Hope you’re all staying safe! Love y’all!”

In the past, Amanda has attributed her downward spiral to her role in the 2006 film, She’s The Man.

In an interview with Paper magazine two years ago, she said: “I just had no purpose in life.

“I’d been working my whole life and [then] I was doing nothing.

“I had a lot of time on my hands and I would ‘wake and bake’ and literally be stoned all day long.

“I got really into my drug usage and it became a really dark, sad world for me.”

The actress graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise in 2019 and seems to be healthy and happy in life and her relationship.
